# Handover report

A handover report records the property's condition when it is handed over. It helps both parties keep a clear record and avoid later misunderstandings.

The report records:

* The condition of each room.
* Existing defects.
* Meter readings, such as water or heating.
* Keys handed over.
* Furnishings transferred from the previous tenant, where applicable.
* Other agreements between you and the landlord.

### How does the handover work?

You inspect the property with your landlord, who records the relevant information in the handover report.

Once the handover has taken place and everyone has signed the report, it is transferred automatically to your Immodio tenant portal.

### Where can I find the report?

Open **Tenancies** and select your current tenancy. The handover report is listed with your other tenancy documents.

### Do I need to download the report?

You can view the provided report in the tenant portal. You may also download a copy for your records or print it if needed.
