# Operating cost statements

Find your operating cost statements and understand the information shown in the tenant portal.

When your landlord or property manager provides a statement through Immodio, you receive an email notification. Open **Operating cost statements** to find it.

Immodio provides access to the statement. Your landlord or property manager is responsible for preparing, checking and providing its contents.

## When does a statement appear?

A statement appears once the landlord has completed it in Immodio and made it available for your tenancy. If none is available, the overview shows that there are no operating cost statements for your tenancies.

If you cannot see a statement you expect, contact your landlord or property manager.

## What does the overview show?

Each provided statement has its own entry. Depending on the recorded data, the overview shows:

* The property's address.
* Your rented unit.
* The statement year.
* Any **additional payment**, **refund** or zero balance.

Select an entry to open its details.

## What do the details show?

Depending on the statement, you can see:

* The statement period.
* Advance payments or a flat rate taken into account.
* The operating costs allocated to your tenancy.
* Any additional payment or refund.
* Cost categories such as water, wastewater, heating, hot water and other operating costs.
* Allocation keys.
* Messages from your landlord.
* Provided files and attachments.

## Important information

The tenant portal lets you view the statement digitally and follow its details. Immodio does **not** make a payment through this view. Follow your landlord's or property manager's instructions for any additional payment or refund.

Statements containing heating or hot water costs may include additional information to help you understand your consumption.
